The questions we get most, and a form that reaches a person.

Common questions

How do I sign in? I never chose a password.

There is no password. Enter your email address on the sign-in page and we send you a link; open it, confirm, and you are in. The link works once and expires in fifteen minutes.

The sign-in link never arrived.

Check the junk folder first, then confirm you used the address you joined with. If the address has hard-bounced or been marked as spam before, we stop sending to it — write to us from another address and we can clear that.

Can I post about a specific patient or case?

No. Do not post patient information anywhere on Angel Squad — not in a post, a comment, a chat message, a document or a file. De-identify the case first. This is the rule we act on fastest.

Who can see what I post?

Whatever you chose when you posted it: public, the community, one organisation, one group, or your connections. Your profile has its own visibility setting, section by section.

Is my organisation able to read my private messages?

No. Organisation administrators see what happens inside their organisation — its posts, its channels, its documents. They cannot read your direct messages with people outside it, and they cannot read your personal calendar.

Can the server read my messages?

Yes, and we would rather say so plainly. Traffic is encrypted in transit and content is encrypted at rest, but we do not offer a scheme in which only the participants hold the keys — because legal holds, moderation, export and audit, which are the controls healthcare organisations require of us, cannot be honoured on content the server cannot read.

How do I delete my account?

From your account settings. There is a short grace period in which you can change your mind; after that your content is deleted or anonymised. You can export your data first.

I found a security problem.

Please report it to the address in our security.txt rather than through this form, and give us a way to reach you. We will not take action against anybody who reports in good faith.

Contact us

Please do not include patient information — no names, record numbers, dates of birth or anything else that could identify a patient. If you include some by mistake, tell us and we will remove it.

We reply to this address. Nothing else happens to it.

Please do not include patient information.

Security reports go to the address in security.txt, not here.
